Markie Post was born in the US and is a well-known actor. She's played her roles as Christine Sullivan the public defender in NBCs Night Court, Terri Michaels as the bail bondwoman Terri as part of ABCs The Fall Guy drama series and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman the sitcom Hearts Afire by CBS. Markie has appeared as an actress on numerous game show. She is the daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. Following a short stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post was married prior the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post has inspired several Hollywood actors as a great actress, wife and mother. Some of her early acting credits include an episode from 1978 of Barnaby, the pilot of Simon & Simon details at Elevenin Episode 2 of The Greatest American Hero in 1981, and two episodes on The A-Team. She also played two characters in The Only Church In Townin 1983 and Hot Styles in 1984 as well as The Love Boat. Following her appearance on Buck Rogers: The Twenty-First Century, and in Cheers as Diane Chambers best friend, she was also a regular on ABC's action drama The Fall Guy.
