Jenna Fischer's most well-known character is Pam Beesly in the highly acclaimed television show The Office. Fischer was awarded 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by the comedy's ensemble.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was a spectator as her mother Anne was in the church stage. The passion for performing and theater was instilled when she was a little girl.

The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf on October 19, 2019. The podcast has proven to be hugely successful, reaching its Top Ten worldwide every week with more than 200 million downloads within its initial two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year award in January 2021.
She is the writer of two books. The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide, in which she recounts her experience to St. Louis to Hollywood in order to be a professional actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two of the Best Friends who were there (co-authored with Angela Kinsey) The book is the story of their greatest friendship and time working on The Office.
